Everything you always wanted to know…
When do I need to get my materials to you?
If possible, two weeks before you need to make your course pack available. Yes, we can work faster, if needed, but generally we’ll need at least one week to clear all copyrights.
Note that you may find some course pack providers who claim 24-to-72-hour turnaround for clearances. But we urge you to be very, very careful about this: The fact is that the closer you get to the beginning of a major term (fall or winter), the more that course pack volume tends to bunch up, and super-fast turnaround on clearances can become simply impossible under these circumstances.
Note also: Re-orders with no changes can be done very quickly — usually within 48 hours.
How long after that will I get my originals back, so I can prepare for class?
We can usually return originals within three business days — or faster, in an emergency.
Where will my coursepack be sold?
At the bookstore(s) of your choice.
How much will this cost me, and my students?
For you — the professor — course pack production and delivery are completely free. The cost to your students averages $25.00 per course pack. A good rule of thumb: Copyrighted pages add 10 cents per page.
When I know the enrollment of my class, do I simply call you?
Please let us know if you accept overrides. Otherwise we’ll track enrollment and determine the quantity of course packs needed at the time of printing. Re-orders, if needed, will be shipped within 24 - 48 hours.
Do I also get a copy of the course pack?
Yes! In fact, you can get as many copies as you’d like.
Tell me more about the Scholarship Award Program. How do I apply?
No application is needed. Rather, we award scholarships on the basis of sales volume within individual departments.
The best way to qualify is to persuade your department colleagues to likewise order their course packs through us. If orders from your department are among the highest in volume we receive, a scholarship can be yours to award to a deserving student.
And be sure to recommend the student of your choice to the department head!
